One of the main reasons to use chemical free soap is that it is better for your skin. Commercial soaps often contain harsh chemicals, such as sulphates, parabens, and phthalates, which can strip the skin of its natural oils and lead to dryness, irritation, and even allergic reactions. Chemical free soap, on the other hand, is gentle and moisturizing, making it suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.

In addition to being gentle on the skin, chemical free soap is also better for the environment. Many commercial soaps are made using synthetic ingredients that are derived from petrochemicals, which are non-renewable resources. These ingredients can also be harmful to aquatic life and contribute to water pollution. Chemical free soap, on the other hand, is made from natural and sustainable ingredients that are biodegradable and eco-friendly.

Chemical Free Soaps

Another benefit of using chemical free soap is that it is cruelty-free. Many commercial soaps are tested on animals, which can be both unethical and unnecessary. Chemical free soap is typically not tested on animals, making it a more ethical choice for those who care about animal welfare.

Furthermore, chemical free soap often contains natural ingredients that offer additional benefits for the skin. For example, soaps made with coconut oil can help moisturize and soothe dry skin, while soaps made with tea tree oil can help treat acne and other skin conditions. These natural ingredients provide a range of therapeutic properties that can improve the health and appearance of your skin.

No artificial products were used in the making of this soap; it was tested, but only on us.

How Lye is made.
Lye or Sodium hydroxide is derived from salt water (brine). It is manufactured by the electrolysis of brine, a salt (NaCl) solution. During this process the water (H20) is reduced to hydrogen gas (H) and hydroxide ion (OH). The hydroxide ion bonds with the sodium to form sodium hydroxide, Lye (NaOH).
